Barry M Berry Ice Cream And Peach Melba Mash Up!

What has everybody done on there day of rest then? Actually, don't tell me, i was working all day so any story's of pyjama days and Sunday roasts are sure to make me envious! Anyway, i hope all of you have had a lovely weekend.
One thing i love doing is rediscovering old possessions and old loves, as i was riffling through my nail varnish tub (yes a tub, i have that many!) and re-discovered why i love Barry M so bad. There bold daring brights and there stunning pastel colours make them one of the most (in my opinion) popular nail varnish brands, i for one, have tons, and i know pretty much all my friends are obsessed with them as well.

Berry Ice Cream
I cant remember how long ive had this for, but its defiantly been for a couple years, my beautiful sister brought me this on a 'i saw this and knew yould love it' kind of moment. And she was right, i fell in love with this pot of joy, i think this is one of the very few polishes i kept on til last possible moment all chipped, took it off and straight away put it back on again, and that NEVER happens! Its a beautiful lilac colour.
What do you think? Do you have any lilac shades nicer then this?

Peach Melba.
I also have had this shade for a couple years now and know its still popular to this day. I remember buying this when i was shopping with my sister she wanted this shade for a givaway and our local boots didnt have ANY at all! For months! I spotted one last lonely pot left. And i snapped it up qwick. I love this shade, it always makes an appearance when the sun comes out and the shorts find there way into my wardrobe again. Its a georgous shade of peach. I have never seen any other brand make a shade like this, unless im blind!
Its offical. Im in love.

They go so well together, so i knew i had to do something with them both. Im not the best nail artist. So excuse my wobbly lines.
Ive used Berry Ice cream as the base coat, Peach melba for a few details, China Glaze Snow Globe for the two glitter nails and my amazing MUA extreme eyeliner pen for the black outlines. I love the two colours together!
Do you own any of these colours?

H&M is my go-to for all the latest fashion trends and high street bargins, but i never thought ild find a nail polish ild actually like there! I ordered a beautiful leather (faux) from the website, and thought i HAD to have this colour nail varnish when i saw it. The colour i brought was 'No Mambo Jambo', its a kind of aqua, green colour with shimmer. Its so pretty, goes on really well and drys instantly!
What do you think of the colour? Just a short post today. Hope youve all had a super chillaxed sunday!

Barry M Blue Moon And China Glaze Snow Globe! NOTD!

Just a quickie today, i had to show all you stunners my nails of the day, and I'm in love. I'm a China Glaze virgin, so this is my first purchase from them and I'm very impressed! I brought snow globe, a clear based glitter with what genially looks like the glitter from snow globes inside it, its gorgeous and perfect to go on top of any colour!
I decided i was going to pair this up with a stunning number from Barry M, Blue Moon. A beauty colour of baby blue with subtle ultraviolet blue shimmer only visible when on direct light.
Blue Moon on its own, with flash.

With China Glaze Snow Globe on top, with flash.
Without flash, sorry for the dark light!

Do you have any China Glaze or Barry M polishes you love?

Models Own Glitter Collection!

First off, can i just apologise for the sheer lack of posts to my blog this past week, i have been plagued by the flu!
Im a glitter addict, anything glitter and i find myself drawn to it.
Now i love models own, they do amazing colours, every shade, for £5 each, but usually they have some offer online or in boots. Ive brought a couple shades from them before, and i decided just to have a browse online to see if they had anything new. Then i spotted the sets they do, there were loads to choose from and then i noticed the glitter set, 6 glitter colours for £20! Bargin! And we all know we love a bargin.
Top row left to right- Purple Haze, Magenta Divine, Mixed Up.
Bottom row left to right- Disco Mix, Emerald City, Gold finger.
For glitter nail varnish, they go on really well, you have to put it on pretty thickly to get best results, but they look awsome! When removing them, they got glitter all over my fingers, so sorry about the messy fingers in the pictures!
Disco mix, a mixture of blue and pink.

Mixed up- black with differnt colour specks of glitter in.

Gold finger- gold glitter.

Purple haze- purple glitter.

Magenta divine- pink glitter.

Emerald city- green glitter.

I LOVE these, ive only put on two coats here, for my finished look i applied another coat for an even better result. I just couldn't decide what colour to put on so i decided to use all the colours expect the black one (mixed up).
What do you think of my finished look?

Love,

Rockalily Lipstick In ZOMG!

So, i have a confession to make. Im not a regular lipstick user, i admit it. But, this lipstick. I LOVE! Like extreme love.
Ive herd of this brand before, but i always thought i would never ever suit the beautiful reds and the daring pinks, im very pale, and my lips are not the thickest. After the ZOMG! blogger bash on Monday i tried this shade on and kept it on for the whole night, i was amazed at how beautiful and rich the colour was, and how the shade suited my skin colour and my lips.
Ive tried and tested the other high street brands of reds and pinks and they are just not right, they either make my lips dry as anything or they make my lips look even thinner. Which i feel defiantly put me off trying darker shades, i just couldn't find the right one, the one i can rely on to make my lips soft, conditioned and not to bleed all over my teeth. UNTIL, this little baby popped along.
The packaging is stylishly retro, and takes the rockabilly theme to a whole new level. Its perfect handbag size and as soon as you whip it out, you know you look cool.

On the website, it gives a small description of the shade as 'a creamy matte fuchsia shade'. The lipstick smells Divine, i want to say a vanilla smell, but im not sure. It feels so conditioning on my lips, like im putting lip balm on instead of a lipstick, its highly pigmented and only takes a quick sweep to give me the desired colour.

The brand Rockalily was made by ReeRee, sick of trying to find a lipstick that suited her, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create lipsticks that will suit all skin types and that is the highest of quality. Some lipsticks are blue based, for pale skins, and some orange based ideal for olive and darker skin types.
This colour is beautiful, and looks really nice with a day look, or all out for a evening look. I love this whole brand too, its different and edgy and unlike anything ive seen before. I am in love, its such a good feeling to find something you love, especially since ive been looking for a lipstick that suits me for what feels like a lifetime!
You can buy this lipstick and many more for £14 from http://www.rockalily.com
In my personal opinion, i love it, and my whole outlook on red and pink lipsticks has defiantly changed, for the better. My next one will defiantly be a red, im torn between Rockette Red and Sailors Beware, what do you think?

Thanks for reading, and in the words of Rockalily 'Lifes too short not to wear lipstick!'

ZOMG! Blogger Bash!

So, if all you guys hadnt already guessed or seen, my sister is the writer of The London Lipgloss, an amazing blog which gave me inspiration to start my own blog. Shes teamed up with Rockalily Lipstick to create her own shade in 'ZOMG!'. Its a dark pink shade and looks amazing on, (one of the only dark lipsticks that suits me). I was lucky enough to be invited to the blogger bash they held for all the amazing bloggers to get together and to have a massive party to celebrate the brand and this new lipstick.
I stupidly got too excited in the heat of the moment and forgot to take many pictures, so sorry about that guys! The theme was definatly 50's glamour, there were vintage hair and make up artists, make your own cupcake, design your own cards, pop up photo shoots and much more. There were even burlesque dancers (which was a first for me!). I had such a good evening and met so many new people. I got talking to Fran, who writes http://insertsuitabletitle.wordpress.com/ and she was so lovely! There were raffle prizes and all of the prizes were amazing, Fran next to me won a stunning necklace!
Had a awsome night and a big congratualtions to my sister and Rockalily for a amazing shade! I will be purchasing!
Lots of love.

Be my valentine, Glossybox!

As i lie horizontal nursing my ever worsening fluey, weak body, i cant help being cheered up by receiving my January Glossybox, yes there back, and after a long break between the Christmas one and this one, i was very much looking forward to it.
Ive been with glossybox now for about 6 months, and i love glossybox, theres been alot of negative comments about it over the past couple of months but i think in my personal opinion we get so much for what we pay, usually one of the products in the box is nearly, or over the price we pay for the whole box, i also love trying and experimenting with things i haven't seen before, or wouldn't usually buy.
With the Christmas box, the box was bright red, so i expected to open my cardboard box and to see the signature baby pink, matte, box. As to my surprise, it was a stunning bright pink! All ready for the valentine season. This is a limited addition box. How cute is the heart sticker and the colour of the box!
As every month rolls by, my glossybox always seems to go straight to the post office, and with stupid collection hours, i never seem to get it til the following weekend, so 9 times out of 10 i wouldn't be able to resist and HAVE to take a peek at the contents on other blogs or youtube. This month, however, i resisted. So it was a complete surprise. Here is what i got...
First thing that caught my eye were the two Clarins moistrisers. I have never tried Clarins before but i have herd so much about them and how good they are.
Theres 2 mini versions of the extra firming day cream, and night cream. This is perfect for glossybox as its for all skin types, so can be used by anybody. The size we received is 15ml, and for the full size of 50ml is £48! After seeing how much it was i had very high expectations.
On the left is the night cream, and the right is the day cream.
As you can see, the night cream is alot thicker then the day cream, on the glossybox card it writes 'Clarins intensive night-time skin renewal complex', that explains the thickness as its an intensive cream and the skin can absorb all the goodness overnight.
The day cream is alot thinner, and the card writes 'infusing skin with firming benefits that are immediate and long-lasting'. Now i would say to myself, jeez im 19 and im already using anti-ageing cream? And im sure im not alone in thinking that, but youve gotta start early, right?
Ive just applied a small amount of the night cream to my face and it feels amazing already! Really rich and moisturising.
Second thing that caught my eye was First Aid Beauty body moisturiser in a 57.6g version opposed to the full size version at 226.8g retailing at £10.
I have never seen this brand before, and so was quiet keen to try it out. Its really thick and is fragrance free, its really moisturizing and sinks really qwickly into my skin. On the glossybox card it states 'The ultimate travel companion for all skin types that provides irritant-free cleansing and hydration.' On the card it writes that it is body wash, but on the product is says body moisturiser, so im not really sure what it is, but ill be useing it as a moisturiser.
Sorry guys about my what looks like giant hands! As you can see its really thick, perfect for winter dry skin!
Next thing in the box of lovelyness is a small product from the company Murad, my mum swears by Murad and her skin has really improved since useing it, so as soon as i saw the packaging i new it would be a good product. This is a Skin perfecting primer, and it states on the packaging 'Ignite skins radiant glow, create a smooth resillient canvas while minimising the appearence of pores'. Perfect for i have alot of pores on my t-section and will try anything/buy anything to get rid of them (well to hide them at least).
We recieved in our box a 5ml version, to buy the full 30ml version would set you back £29.
I was really suprised to see that it is coloured, useual primers are a gel or liquid clear cream, i spreaded it over my hand and it definatly added colour. To use, everyday after moisturizing, blend evenly over face and neck, wear under or in place of foundation for a fresh look.
Lastly, is the full size product. Eyeko skinny eyeliner. I have never seen this brand before so really keen to get it open and to see what it was. The colour i recieved was Midnight blue, which is perfect considering i have bright blue eyes. We recieved a full size pencil, which retails at £9.50, which is 50p off the price for the whole box, im pretty impressed with that.
I was quiet disapointed when i saw how big it was, i thought ah wow! Thats hudge, but in actual fact half of it is just a sort of plastic point, dont really know the purpose of it to be honest, but i loved the colour of it. On the card, it writes 'Get a handle on your eyeliner for precise definition and intense colour with a long-lasting finish'. On the box of the product it writes 'Create dramatic and subtle effects with precise definition and smooth application. Long lasting wax based formula with a blendable cream finish'.
The colour i have is called Midnight Blue, and as you can see its like a navy blue. Im really pleased with the colour i have got because i have seen that other people have got colours i wouldnt really like to use on my eyes.
Overal im really pleased with my glossybox, as i am with every month, and i think for the price we pay we really get treated. And in my personal opinion i love getting a present every month!

How cute is this glossybox sweet!

Thanks for reading my lovely followers.
What did you all get in your glossybox?
