Spa Day!

With all the stresses of daily life and the depression of Christmas over me and one of my best friends decided we would treat ourselves to a spa day. The spa, was Aqua Sana in our closest report of Centerparcs in Elveden near Newmarket. Our family goes to Centerparcs every year so this was not a new experience for me but never been for a spa day. You can go from 9am and leave by 6pm so they give you plenty of time to unwind and chill out.
This is a shot of the main area where the shops, sports plaza and resturants were.

As we booked a spa day for two for the price of £100 (£50 each), this included drinks and food. So, as we enterd we headed over to the Zilli cafe inside the spa for breckfast we scoffed down pastrys and scones and as it was chilly outside we started our day off with a hot chocolate. The spa itself has an orray of saunas, steam rooms, relaxation rooms and waterbeds. As we took off our fluffy robes we headed to a indian blossom steam room, which is the best one there, it smells of sherbet lemons and isnt too hot, but hot enough! I could of sat in there all day.
Another shot of the main area, so beautiful!

As we headed over back to the cafe for lunch, we dined on fresh orange juice and a chicken pinnini. We didnt stay til 6pm as we had to head back to Cambridge, but we felt like we had enough time. The spa itself is so relaxing and it was such a nice treat to spend the day with one of my best friends. We both had such a giggle and a lovely day.
The entrance to the spa.

As you enterd the spa there is a shop to buy all the best skincare and make up. I could of brought everything!
Every girls idea of heaven!
Thanks for reading, enjoy your Sunday!

MUA Eyeshadow Haul!

Okay, what your about to whitness is quiet embarrassing. Yes, i admit it. Im a make up junkie. And my collection of JUST MUA palettes will prove this, this isnt even my whole collection of eyeshadows, i have more (which for obvious reasons wont be showing as you might think im a bit mad), your probably thinking, does she even use all these? And no, not all at the same minute, but, and theres a big but, i WILL use all these. It just might take me a while.
Okay, so if youve never herd of the brand MUA, it stand for Make-up Academy and can be nabbed up from Superdrug for ridiculously cheap prices. So in my defence, not much was spent here.

First up, the Immaculate Collection, instead of the usual 12 colour palette this has a staggering 24 beautiful colours to choose from. This is a total mix of matte and shimmery shades and comes with a 4 side applicator brush, i aready have amazing eyeshadow brushes, so will probally just stick to useing my own brushes.

These two palettes are (on the top) Palette in Starry Night, and on the bottom is Palette in Glamour Days. Starry night is more pinks and silvers and Glamour days is more pinks and browns. Again each palette comes with a applicator brush which come in handy if i dont have anything else to apply with!

These next two palettes are (top) Glamour Nights and bottom is Heaven and Earth. Galmour nights is obviously a more dareing version of Glamour Days (See above picture). Some of these shades are so bold, espeically the bright pink and purple, but would be fab in the corner of the eyes. I have the urban decay pen formula where it comes in a pot with a brush, and if you swipe the brush over any eyeshadow you want it turns into liquid eyeliner, and i love to use this on bright eyeshadows just in the corner of my eye for a dash of colour to pop the eye open. Heaven and Earth palette is perfect for brown smokey eye and perfect for a subtle eye look or heavy for a beautiful brown eye look.

Lastly on the palette front, ive got the palette in Pretty Pastels, and yep youve guessed it, its all pastel colours that are perfect for summer. Its all very light shimmery shades that will be perfect for a bright eye look.

These two are trio eyeshadows, the left is Innocence and on the right is Pink Sorbet. These are three shades that can all be used in one look. On the back it gives you instructions on how to use the shadows for a fab look. 1. Define and line with the darkest shade. (use in the outer corner) 2. Blend and shadow with the middle shade (sweep over the whole eyelid) and 3. Highlight with the lightest shade (sweep at the top of the eye, over the eyebrow bone and in corner of the eye).

Do you have any MUA palettes and if so, which ones?
You can buy these shadows from £2.50 to £8 which isnt that bad at all!

Thanks!

MUA Out There! Lip Plumping Gloss!

I love a good lipgloss. Especially if its plumping because i dont have the plumpest of lips (i wish i did!) so anything thats going to help the situation is always good in my books. A couple years ago a trotted off to the local boots and purchased a tube of the Sexy Mother Pucker. The tingling and stining in this was just too much, and i found the formula to be so thick and gloopy and sticky it put me off glosses for a while (dont get me wrong, most of my friends love it, just my personal choice) so when i got these and saw they were lip plumping i thought that they would be the same problem as the soap and glory one. However, the tingle in this is a comfortable tingle, and i was pleasntly suprised.
Top to bottom- Nude, Peach Shimmer and Candy Pink.
Without Flash- L-R- Candy Pink, Nude And Peach Shimmer.

With Flash L-R- Pink Candy, Nude and Peach Shimmer.

I actully love all of the colours, the peach shimmer will be amazing in summer! And for the bargin price of £2 per lip gloss, can you really go wrong?
You can buy these and more colours from Superdrug.

Thanks!

Viva La Juicy!

Hello all you lovely ladies. I cant believe ive now got 26 followers! Im chuffed to bits, i haven't been doing this blog for long, so i never expected anyone to follow me! I hope im doing okay!
I love perfume, i love smelling good and i love smelling feminine. I recieved this for christmas from my sister and i love it so much. I would never ever in a shop useully pick this, its not a brand i would useully go for but i was so suprised at how much i loved the smell!
The box and bottle are beautiful. So 'my kind of age style' if that makes sense. You can see that they have targeted the teenage girl market where as a Armarni perfume i have seems to have been targeted at the 20-40 market.
Top notes: Juicy mandarin and wild berries.
Heart notes: Honeysuckle, jasmine petals and gardenia.
Base notes: Amber, caramel woods, vanilla, sandalwood and praline
The bottle is like something ive never seen before! I love the big pink bow.

Benefit Dandelion Blush Review!

Ive done a couple Benefit posts now and i just love the stuff. Ive never brought a blush from them, and i received this for Christmas i couldn't wait to try it out. Dandelion is the softest shade of blush they do, and it supposed to add radiance and glow to your skin and a subtle pink colour to your cheeks.
The box is beautiful, its kind of a flip lid and includes a really soft brush.
You can see the colour is a soft coral pink. The camera doesn't pick it up but you can see the shimmer in the powder.
I used flash on this picture, but i don't know if you can see but in the middle of my hand you can see the shimmer. Its a really nice balance of shimmer and colour, this would be perfect for blusher for a day look or in the night time i would use this as a highlighter.
Here is a picture in the daylight to try and show you the colour of the blush.
To buy this blush from Benefit it will cost you £23.50.

Thanks!

FashionistA Double-Take Long Wear Lipstick Haul!

I have thin-ish lips, and i dont suit dark or bright red lipsticks, so i explained this to my sister and asked for a nude lipstick for christmas, she took it on board and got me 3 insted! I was chuffed as every colour she got me was perfect. I love these lipsticks because you can layer them up and make them true to the colour in the stick, or just cover lips lightly for a subtle colour.
The colours she got me was Baby Doll Pink, Buff and Cinnamon.
Left to right : Baby Doll Pink, Buff and Cinnamon.

These lipsticks smell amazing and look and feel really conditioning, and as you can see from the picture they look conditioning aswell. I have swiped this over my arm quiet thickly so this will be the colour you will get if you put alot on, but i like to just put a little bit on for a subtle dash of colour.

You can buy these and more colours from Superdrug for £7 each.
Thanks!

The Best Concealer In The World... MAC Studio Finish!

Hello there. Now, i have terrible bags, terrible spots, and terrible freckles and i think Ive tried every single concealer under the sun, even some MAC ones i really didn't get on with, until..i came across this. This has got to be the best concealer i have ever used. I need a concealer thats thick, high coverage and long lasting and this is that all over. My mum and sister like to use very light concealers and foundations but i personally like to cover everything to give my face a flawless finish.
This is the box it comes in. On the website this is the description is gives. 'A lightweight, creamy, discreetly opaque concealer. Provides a smooth, long-wearing invisible coverage for all skin blemishes. lightweight concealer is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin's imperfections and discolourations. It effectively covers dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks.' Which for my freckles, under-eye bags and spots is perfect.
Here is the box, the concealer and a little booklet.

The pot of concealer itself, reminds me of the eyeshadow pots, its exactly the same size. The concealer is the same consistency as a balm, and it lasts forever. The one i have in these pictures is a replacement for my current one when it runs out, theres still a little bit left and ive used it everyday for 4 months-ish. Not bad!
This is the texture of the concealer, the bit i have put on my hand hasn't been rubbed in but you can see the high coverage already. If you suffer with the same problems as me and you like a thicker concealer, this is the best one ive used and probably the best one ill ever find!

The colour i have is NC15 and its available online or in MAC stores for £13.50.

Thanks!
